Around 40 seeds taken from a pepper before cooking. As far as I know, it should be a "sweet pepper" (Capsicum). The seeds were dried for almost a week in some paper and now are germinating in a small container in humid paper.
I was wandering on the web to check which species our AlbertHeijn pepper is and I found the ultimate chili pepper resource: the chileman chilli pepper database!
I've bought seeds of "Cayenne long slim" in the shop in Arnhemse Bovenweg.
40 seeds, 1.50 €. To be sown indoor from March to May, harvest from July to September.
I've sown seeds in five spots (2/3 seeds for each) in an area of 30x30 cm (I know it's quite small, but that's it..).
In the same shop there's just one kind of strawberry seed and it's around 3.5/4 € for 25 seeds.
